Jennifer Destiny Mendez

Project Daisy is a memorial program founded in love, light and beauty in honor of Jennifer Destiny Mendez, who lost her battle from complication of hydrocephalus at the age of 24. Since the passing of Jennifer, on July 22, 2011, Hydro Angels Over America has been ensuring that families who have lost loved ones due to hydrocephalus are not left without resources. We provide burial assistance funds to families nationally.

Jennifer had a very special place in the heart of the founder, Sheri Burdine. Her death was unexpected and tragic to all who knew and loved her.We call our program Project Daisy in honor of her love of the daisy flower.

Jennifer will never be forgotten.

Why we help?

Many times a family that has suddenly lost a child or adult due to hydrocephalus does not have the financial means to cover the costs of burial or cremation. Hydro Angels is able to support those families through this very special program which provides burial assistance funds. Families who are in need of this special support are referred to us through hospital social workers, friends of Hydro Angels, and our website.

How can you help?

Our memorial fund is made possible through private donations from the general public and often in memory of  a loved one who has passed away.

Please make a donation online to support Project Daisy, or simply mail a check. We appreciate your generous heart. For more information contact us
